The Pricing Model is used in arbinon.com throughout your product and procurement management processes to track your business according to each of the four main pricing models. In reality, we called this "Pricing Model", but it's more appropriately a "Sourcing Model". But it's kind of taken a life of it's own so we may just keep that name even if it's not perfect.
The four Pricing Model selections include:
- Retail - this stands for Retail Arbitrage. People call it "RA" for short, and this is where you source your products from a physical brick and mortar retails store for resale in your Ecommerce business.
- Online - this stands for Online Arbitrage. People call this "OA" for short, and is where you source your products from an online web based retailers for resale in your Ecommerce business.
- Wholesale - this is the model where you purchase products "wholesale" or bulk pricing directly from brand owners, distributors or wholesale resellers.
- Private Label - this is the model where you design, produce and market your own branded product.
